THE TRUTH ABOUT SO-CALLED FLIGHT ATTENDANT “SCHOOLS”
- We don’t waste your time and money teaching you travel agent skills – a flight attendant DOESN’T NEED to know how to book airline reservations and cruise reservations; airlines DO NOT PREFER you to be cross-trained and they DON’T put you in a GROUND POSITION when you are not needed as a flight attendant, regardless of what these schools tell you!
- You DON’T need to attend a school - the airlines are the only ones authorized by the FAA to train you – THERE IS NO SCHOOL THAT CAN TAKE THE PLACE OF THAT, no matter what you are being told!
- You DON’T need to spend thousands of dollars to learn things you will never use! The reason these schools charge a lot of money and keep you for WEEKS and/or MONTHS at a time is because it takes a long time to learn Sabre, the computer system they teach, which is used for booking airline reservations. Keep in mind that the financial aid they offer is NOT free – it is a loan that must be paid back and it will eat into your paycheck for years!
